You really may want to consider going to www.figureskatingdeals.com click on accessories and check out "protective shorts". It's not worth doing permanent damage.

Chasing a bike and not paying attention, elbow pad took the impact and then slid up the arm as the elbow got scraped.

Also did the butt slide, burnt through the spendex.

Similar butt burn on the other side (no pics) when I inhaled a drink instead of swallowing. coughed so hard I fell.

Started skating hard without warming up, so I lost it in the first hundred yards and had a shoving match with a wood fence;

But in all, it is only skin, because of full body armor. Never skate without them!

I just noticed that my injury from Monday is worthy, but the picture would not be work safe, nor do I think I can convince my wife to take it. (My whole right butt cheek is black

I know what you say..

I had to take mine through a mirror. One pic I just held it away and kept snapping until I got what I needed, but I know what your talking about. She supports my skating, but thats where she draws the line.
