Those look interesting.....and a steal at that price lol
![]() Though I'm guessing they're gonna be $89 a set? Cause in the pull down for quantity, a set of 4 wheels is listed as (-$44.50). So I'm guessing twice as many wheels would cost twice as much.

What is a "True Hollow Hub", btw? And what sets it apart from, presumably, all of those imitation hollow hubs out there?

Looks like somebody copied the Atom hubs...
But at least they made a 96a wheel.... and it's white...

ATOM could easily be making these. Not a stretch for a company to pour wheels for someone else if the price is right.

^^ True....
So for those who have seen them, are they narrow or standard width?

Here is my limited knowledge from my research into the skating scene when I knew we were moving into this area.
I went to the Oly Rollers (derby team in Olympia) myspace page and bumped around a bit. I followed some link to a guy (this might be him) talking up Atom's wheels. (The team is sponsored by Atom) and Atom is based in Olympia. In this new website "grnmonster"- his pic- he is wearing a Puget Sound T-shirt (Olympia area) and now talking up these new wheels- being sold buy 2 dealers that are listed on Atom's website for being a preferred vendor. My guess- he helped Atom get a foothold here locally, then either decided to piggy back off of their success by having them make wheels he could market and sell OR Atom is making another brand for themselves to continue penetrating the quad market with good wheels and hired him to help them again. The above is strictly a guess and shouldn't be construed as fact. Late-

Don't quote me but I had been told that Estro Jen of ViaDerby.com was involved in this wheel or at least has more inside information. I'd recommend emailing her if you're interested.

You caught that too... All props to QZ... but that is a really silly website. I mean.. I guess if all these brands actually used him for marketing.. but...I dont see any big pay off.... and I dont see any huge marketing push to get those names out there.. 80% of the time.. we here on S.L. find these by snooping through company pages.. or knowing someone developing the wheels. Thinks if this is all you need.. Ill start up my OWN marketing company.. ![]() Ballz Marketing Group. BMG. Let Eight.. Set YA Straight!.. Oooooh YEaH!

Dead give away..He used to be the quad guy @ NISTEVO LLC
If I am not mistaken, the derby sk8s he is wearing in the website pic are his Euro Hockey boot sk8s I saw at the Fall show in Roanoke a few years back...
