About the Palm Beach Inline Challenge

The Palm Beach Inline Challenge is an indoor and outdoor inline speed skating competition held every January in South Florida. The event is an invitation-only meet that is sanctioned by USA Rollersports and organized by the Stardust Speed Club. The Palm Beach Challenge includes an indoor competition at the Atlantis Skateway Roller Skating Rink near West Palm Beach and outdoor banked and flat track events at the Brian Piccolo Velodrome, in Brian Piccolo Park, just north of Miami.

Stardust Speed Skating Club
The Stardust Speed Club is a South Florida inline speed skating club founded in 1978. Coaches include Joe Hanna, Jorge Botero, and Eric Licata in Tampa and Orlando, Sam Johnson in Tampa, and Ed Mueller and Ross Vening in Lantana. The club is based at three South Florida roller skating rinks: Atlantis Skateway in Greenacres, Semoran Skateway in Casselberry, and United Skates of America in Tampa.
