Cool Corrupt-A-Wish

Ok, another time waster. Saw it on another message board, so I thought it would be nice addition here.

Write a wish.
The next person to reply grants your wish, but there's a consequence to it...
(S)he then writes another wish, which the next person corrupts.

Example:
1st person: I wish I had X-Ray Vision.
2nd person: Granted, but it only works in nursing homes.

I'll start.

I wish I were rich.

Hmmm... this game looks like fun, but replying will take a little more thought. Off to think about it...

<< I wish I were rich. >>

Granted, but after a few months of having anything you want, you don't want anything any more.

I wish I had skating legs like Theresa Cliff!

Granted, but you'd have to live on hawai (knowing there is limited orgasphalt over there... )

I wished I was wise like king Salomon

Janneman, your answer was clever! I'm going to have to think harder to play this game!

Granted, but you could only communicate through obscure internet forums that only a few people would read.

I wish that the purtyest lady skater in the world would know my name and smile when she sees me!

I wish I had another wish.

>>>i wish i knew how to make silly putty<<<

Your wish is granted, but after you finish making some, you realize it isn't nearly as silly as you hoped. (As a result, you become depressed and begin making "Serious Putty" and consequently, it's a big hit.)

I wish I had a new cell phone.

Granted, but the only numbers it dials are ex-girlfriends.

I wish I could skate as fast and as long as Joey Mantia.

Granted, but while on vacation in Haiti, Joey angers a local shaman who curses his feet with "rubber bone" thereby ruining his skating forever.

I wish that I could see the top of Mt. Everest.

I wish I could see through women's clothes.

Granted, but only when men are wearing them...

I wish I could sleep more.

Granted, but when you sleep you have horrible and vivid nightmares. You run and run but don't make any progress. And something is chasing you. But you don't know what. And your pillow gets sweaty and your legs and arms make jerky movements. Even your dog is alarmed by your behavior.

I wish that I could be invisible and wander around without being detected.

Granted, but you develop a horrible allergy to peanuts. And whenever you eat peanuts you travel on the astral plane and you see dead people.

I wish that I was a "cooler" like Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse. And I traveled the country training bar staffs how to handle disruptive patrons peacefully. That would be great!

Granted... Except in a horrible marketing maneuver the good folks at Oscar Mayer ship you to a hot and sandy country in the Mideast where pork products are less than appreciated. You sit alone, and forlorn, on a refrigerator shelf well past your expiration date...

I wish for the ability to freeze water with my "Freezer vision."

I'm still laughing about the pompadour and the unbuttoned shirt!

I wish I always bought the perfect gift for every occasion, without overspending and still showing how thoughtful I am.<<<

Granted, but you become overwhelmed with the enormous number of occasions that there actually are on this planet. As a result, you have a nervous breakdown and end up writting cards for Hallmark as a living.

I wish I could have a cup of coffee in front of me just by thinking it.

Granted! However, your uncanny ability to please and delight others has a hidden cost. Your friends and loved ones grow to despise your wonderful gifts because they know that they will never be able to return the same kindness to you. No gift would ever be worthy of Speedy. Your social circle dwindles, your wife takes the children to the skating mecca on the equator. Soon you are alone with no one buy gifts for. Even the homeless children of Dave Morgan turn up their noses at your efforts to please. You type furious messages on skating forums and that is the extent of your social life. sad. grim. lonely. You eventually move into a small one bedroom condo in Northern Wisconsin. For no real reason except you like snowmobiles.

I wish that I could go back in time and assassinate Adolph Hitler before he gained power.
