Hi everyone.
I used to be an artistic figure skater back in the 70s and I am currently looking for a skating club in the Phoenix, Arizona area for my two young girls. I thought they might enjoy it. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear there is one. Anyone know something about this? Thank you in advance. |

The Arizona Skate Champs Artistic Roller Skating Team is based at three roller skating rinks: USA Skateland in Chandler, USA Skateland in Mesa, and Great Skate in Glendale. Their Web site has contacts for the club and all three rinks, plus competition photos and information about classes, coaches, upcoming events, and results from past events. I hope that helps!

Hi Jerilyn, Did you skate out of a club in Arizonia? You can find a list of clubs on the USARollersports web site http://www.usarsmembers.org/reports/...e=A®ion=Any It's a list of all active USARS clubs and is updated often. Also, have you visited Susan A Miller's Classic Skating web site? It's a site dedicated to 60's, 70's and 80's Artistic Roller skating. She has scanned a lot of old "SKATE" magazines and there is plenty of other intresting content there. http://www.susan-a-miller.com/skate/home.html Good luck on your club search, and maybe I'll see you at GoldSkate next year.
