The 2010 Eastern Seaboard Series schedule has been posted at http://www.easternseaboardseries.com

1. May 29th, 2010 "Free Food Race" Race day Schedule
2. June 19, 2010 "Schools Out!!" Race day Schedule
3. July 17, 2010 "Sportsfest" Race day Schedule
4. August 21, 2010 "Dawg Days Of Summer" Race day Schedule
5. September race will either be the 11th in Trexlertown PA or the 12th in Chantilly VA. location and date TBD.

Stage 5 may be combined again this year with the Skate of the Union race in Chantilly, VA. We will be working on that over the next several months.

Today was Stage 2 of the Eastern Seaboard Series. We were there, as we live in the region and skate this series annually.

We were happy to see several other Skateloggers there, although myself and Kevin only spoke to gopherfan (and he skated in the same race with Kevin, Pro Master/Veteran). Comeundone was also there, and we think Intrepid was also at the race (if that was you, Intrepid, did you get any good pics, as I saw you out there with the camera?). Hope to see you all at another race at Trexlertown in the months to come. If you are, let us know, and we'll get a group shot. If you guys then went to Philly Freedom Skate, hope you all had a great time!! And enjoyed a cheese steak, lol! It's been a couple years since I have been on the Sunday morning Philly skate, but can say it is alot of fun and weather tomorrow is supposed to be just like today - sunny and warm.

JL - yes I was there with my new Canon T2i camera taking pix and HD video. I posted several pix on the Training thread which you have since responded to. This was my first time at Trexlertown and I had a very good time at the ESS event. I am planing to participate in the next stage in July and look forward to meeting you then.

Some good news - we received approval from the Fairfax County Police to use their Driver Training facility in Chantilly, VA for the Skate of the Union race on September 19. ESS Stage 5 will be concurrent with SOTU, Bob has updated the ESS home page with the date and location of the race. We are currently negotiating with several chip timing companies to get an affordable price for timing the SOTU/ESS races. We are working out the details but it looks like we will have a half-marathon, a 10K, and a 5K race. The event is an NROC Class A race.
