Pro Skaters in California: September 23-24

Event Announcement:

WHAT: USA Action Sports Championships
WHEN: September 23-24,2006
WHERE: San Diego California
DISCIPLINES: Vert (inline, skateboard, BMX)

The 2006 USA Action Sports Championships will take place September 23-24 at the San Diego Arena (IpayOne Center) in San Diego, Southern California. Below is a picture I took of Elmer Pillon of Great Britain at the last LG Championships I attended:

Events will be inline vert, skateboard vert, and BMX vert, and freestyle motocross demonstrations. Inline athletes scheduled to participate include:

MEN:
- Borja Fernandez
- Brain Shima
- Brandon Davis
- Chris Haffey
- David Schexnayder
- Eito Yasutoko
- Elmer Pillon
- Jeff Stockwell
- Kevin Marron Lopez
- Marc Englehart
- Matt Lindy
- Patrick Zimmerman
- Taig Khris
- Takeshi Yasutoko

WOMEN:
- Fabiola da Silva
- Ayumi Kawasaki

Live bands include:
- Seether
- Reel Big Fish
- Trapt

Tickets are available online through Ticketmaster or in person at the San Diego Arena Box Office.

Upstate NY here. Does anyone ever come here? My only hope of seeing anyone is maybe catching Katie Ketchum in Buffalo at xtreme-wheels. That's a 2-hour drive, ugh.
