NE Ohio, Skate Connection re-opening

The Skate Connection in Boardman, Ohio will be reopening.

At the moment, they are waiting for the insurance policy to be drafted up.

For now, they are only going to be having adult night (Thursdays 8:30 to 11:00 pm) with more sessions to be added in the fall. Hopefully the adult session will start 8/16/07.

Hello everyone:
This is my first post to the forum, and I'm glad to bring some good news to everyone.
As many of you know, Skate Connection in Boardman, Ohio closed down almost 2 years ago. I am very glad to say that the new owners of the rink have decided to reopen the place under the new name of "Youngstown Skate". They wanted to tie it in with "Youngstown State University".
I am thrilled to say that we have ordered all new rental skates also...including new inline skates.
The rink is opening Thursday Sept. 20, starting with an Adult Nite session from 8:30-11pm. Admission is set at $6.00.
The owners have decided to bring back all sessions gradually, so our opening schedule will be this:
Thursday Adult Nite 8:30-11
Friday Open Session 8:00-10:30pm
Saturday Open Session 1:00-4:00pm ; 8:00-10:30 pm
Sunday Soul Nite (R&B & Old School) 21 & over 8:00-11:00 pm

We will open more sessions as fall progresses.

No we do not have a website up for the rink yet, but we are working on it.
I will let ya know when it is up and running!

I was wondering if there is a number to connect the rink I wanted to see if they are doing birthday parties?

Hi everyone:
A website for Youngstown Skate is in the works, however, we've gone a step further and created a "myspace" for the rink also.
Check it out and when the normal website is up and running, I'll post the web address on here:

www.myspace.com/youngstownskate

We are working on birthday parties, school parties, and other private parties as well. As soon as we get the particulars in place, flyers and such will be posted.

So yes, we will be doing birthday parties. When we are ready to promote them, I'll pass along the phone number to call.
