FROM SKATELOG FORUM HOST KATHIE FRY IN MARCH OF 2020:
This announcement is to let everyone know that after hosting the SkateLog Forum and its predecessors for nearly 20 years, I have decided it is time to permanently turn the forum over to a new owner and administrator. I cannot think of anyone more suitable to take on that role than my SkateLog forum co-host, Florida skater Jessica Wright. I am pleased to announce that Jessica has agreed to establish and host a brand new skating forum, configured like the SkateLog Forum, but with a new name and a new Web Site. This new forum is 100% owned and operated by Jessica.

NEW FORUM NAME: SkateDebate Forum

Default How To Find A Skatepark Near You

having trouble finding a place to skate...?

if you didn't already know, www.concretedisciples.com has a great list of skateparks in the US as well as all over the world.

go to skateparks, choose the region you live in, then state and it will come up with a list of all of the certified skateparks in your state as well as a ton of information about them (usually) like if its free or pay/lights/restrooms on sight/proshop/builder, and most skateparks have pictures too.

alot of people already know about this site but i figured i'd post it here anyways for some of the people who don't.

STICKY FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!

Smile Seylynn Park

"Seylynn Park in North Vancouver can rightfully claim to be the first skate park in Canada, China Creek followed several months later. The two launched the drive to build such parks in communities across the country."

This park has to be the best ride ever.

No roof and this is Canada so don't show up in February without your water-wingie-suction-cup wheels. It usually stops raining for a day or 2 in July...lol.

Seylynn Park is depicted in my vid below...

I just poke my head out the car window and listen. When I hear, "f-this, f-that" followed by a "that was so sick" I know I am nearing a skate park.
