Unhappy Mogema Retreats From Skating (Ice and Roller)

i am hearing Mogema is retreating from both iceskating and rollerblading business

they are a large machinery production facility here in the netherlands, and a well-reputed company. itīs a shame and a loss for the sport and the industry

AMY !!!!

Mogema is a dutch brand of ice-skates and inlines...

but is part of a bigger machinenery-factory - that does a lot of mechanical manufacturing.

the rumour is not confirmed yet though.

and the update; not a full and clear report but on a dutch forum i read a statement from somebody who appearantly works for mogema that they'll concentrate on those inline frames. but what they will stop doing is not yet clear to me.

I just looked up Mogema a couple of days ago (I'm ogling different speed skating setups) and was pretty puzzled at first when their site came up. No wonder making skate frames is a secondary revenue stream. I hope they keep it up, though - or spin it off successfully

Hi, this is my first post (later I'll introduce my self):

Mogema brand is out of bussines for the new season, I think. Their sellers are now offering new products under a new name (I don't know what). This infformation came from my skate seller in Spain (I can't say who is, but is serious). The last offers from Mogema are all five whells skates and 165 mm boots; seems like close out offers.

Mogema's skate business is being reorganized. The people involved will announce when they are ready. A different forum has said the name is Cado Motus, and they've said since September that new products would be available in 2007.
